Fusion Menu

Fusion is effectively a dropdown menu which is offering javascript enhanced dropdown modes. The menu itself is built on the rewritten core of the latest revision of RokNavMenu, the core application behind all RocketTheme menus.

Fusion offers a series of new abilities ranging from Menu Icons, Subtext support and much greater controls over the Multiple Column ability for dropdowns.

If after installing theme your menu doesn’t appear itself in the header please do one of the following :
1) Go to your themes, activate another theme for a second, and activate your Moxy back again.
2) Go to your widgets panel and drag the RokMenu widget to the Top Menu position.

Widget Configuration

You can configure Fusion Menu at Admin Dashboard → Appearance → Widgets and you will find all parameters under the RokMenu widget (by default in the Top Menu position).

Menu Icons

Fusion has support for individual menu icons for its dropdown menu items. These images are loaded from the /wp-content/themes/rt_iridium_wp/images/menus/ directory where you will find 31 images by default.

To setup a Menu Icon, go to Admin Dashboard → Edit Page. Locate the Custom Fields field under page edit box and type in the name of the custom box icon and in the value one of the 31 available names ie. minus, briefcase, lock – all names are listed in our sample content under Features → Menu Icons(please use small letters!)

If you can’t select icon from the list of names for Custom Field, please click on Add New and create it.

Subtext

Subtext is the term used to describe the secondary text placed underneath the menu title.

To add your own Subtext, go to Admin Dashboard → Edit Page. Locate the Custom Fields field under page edit box and type in the name of the custom box subtext and in the value insert your desired text.

If you can’t select subtext from the list of names for Custom Field, please click on Add New and create it.

Multiple Dropdown Columns

Fusion has the facility for dynamic column control for its dropdown. You can choose between single (1) or double (2) column modes for children of every single menu item via page custom fields.

To control the number of columns of each menu item, go to Admin Dashboard → Edit Page. Locate the Custom Fields field under page edit box and type in the name of the custom box fusion_columns and in the value please type either 1 or 2.

Dynamic Child Direction

Typically, a dropdown menu column will extend beyond the width of the browser window if you have enough child levels. However, with Fusion, the menu detects the width of the browser and will change the direction of menu pullouts so all menu items are visible without the need to scroll.

RokMenu Menu Page Ordering

The order that the pages can be shown in the RokMenu widget are normally set using the Pages Edit SubPanel in the WordPress administration panel.

If you are using sub pages, and sub child pages in your Pages hierarchy, you need to follow the following guidelines when setting the page order of your sub, or sub child pages.

For example, if you have a Page called "About Us", and the page order value of this page is 3, then if you assign a subpage to this top level page, then its Page Order value must also be 3(or higher), and subsequent page order values must increment upwards.

i.e.

If your page structure is:

– About
— About Us
— About Company
— About Finance

And the page order value of "About" is 3 then, the page order of the pages "About Us", "About Company", "About Finance" will be 3, 4, 5

i.e.

- About (Page Order value 3)
— About Finance (Page Order value 4)
— About Us (Page Order value 5)
— About Company (Page Order value 6)
